“I became a firefighter because historically this is a noble and rewarding career.  I enjoy hleping otheres in any capacity possible.  Since I was a child, it was always a dream of mine to do what the guys did riding in the big red truck with the flashing lights.  Now every shift I pull is just me living out a life long dream.

To those thinking of volunteering with the fire department, I would say you will either quickly fall in love with it, or quickly find out that it isn't for you.  Be persistent, and continue to build upon your craft.  Work hard and your efforts will pay off.”
